KUCHING (8 May 2018): Malays in Sarawak should be thankful for having a political party like Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) which unites the community and never takes their unity for granted. Petra Jaya incumbent Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof who gave this reminder at a fund-raising dinner hosted by Sarawak Malay Graduates Association (IGMS) at a local hotel on Sunday added that Sarawak Malays should look at the Malays in Peninsular Malaysia who are divided by political affiliation. “Here in Sarawak, the Malays are united under PBB which is why we have no issue of division within the community here. I hope Sarawakian Malays will always appreciate unity,” he said. The dinner, which was also held to mark the association’s 24th anniversary, raised about RM100,000 for the association’s activities.
